I saw this recipe online and thought i’d give it a go for my little lot. I have to use 2 packs of 500g beef mince for this. Firstly, I gently sauted a finely chopped carrot,onion,potato, and celery, garlic and a handful of peas. In a big bowl I put mince, 1 egg, herbs, salt and pepper and Worcestershire sauce. I mixed the vegetables in and bound it all together to resemble a bit of beef. I made the pastry using 200g of plain flour, 100g butter and some cold water to bind. Then put the mixture on the pastry and use water to stick the edges like a parcel. I brushed a little milk over the top and put in the oven for about 45 minutes. It was lovely.
